Pastor - Arthur J. James

Arthur James is a spirit filled minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  He devoted his life to the Lord at any early age.  Pastor James received his informal education in the Dallas Public Schools, graduating from Skyline High School.  He is also a graduate of The University of North Texas.  While attending UNT he began teaching bible study to young athletes in 1991 and co-founded "Campus Mpact" in 1992 an outreach ministry to college students on the UNT campus.  He also served as the chaplain of the North Texas Voices of Praise.

Pastor James received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of North Texas for his continued commitment to education.  Rev. James served as Senior Pastor of The Dallas Christian Hope Baptist Church from November of 1996 until June of 2004 when the Lord called him to plant the Transparent Church.  Pastor James also earned his master's degree from Texas Tech University in May of 2005 and is currently praying for direction to begin work on a Ph.D.  In addition to the service to the church Pastor James serves on the board of directors for the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, The Grand Prairie Boys & Girls Club, Impact Grand Prairie, The Hospitality Educators Association of Texas, Skyline High School's Hospitality Advisory Board and various other volunteer organizations.   When he is not at the church you will find Pastor James at his other fulltime occupation as a faculty member of North Lake College in Irving, Texas.

God has given him an extraordinary delivery style to reach people of all classes and cultures.  We invite you to come hear this anointed and dynamic speaker of God's word every Sunday at our 11:00 a.m. service.
